One-string riff ideas seem to keep flowing more and more, apparently, and this short clip being a good example of one of those riff ideas plays around the 7th string (low drop A string) with the open & 12th fret octaves hammered-on/pulled-off. Was very silly and easy actually, even though on these kind of riffs I get the unstoppable urge to make it sound like really heavy, pumping, and full with heavyweight drums bombing under the guitars vibrating like earthquake. It kinda gives the idea that the riff is so cool sounding. It takes it from level 1, when listening just one guitar jamming, to level 20, when in context on final mix. Used my *strandberg Boden 8 (yes, it's actually an 8-string but here I'm using it as a 7 with Drop A tuning and ditching the 8th string) on all parts / melodies / solos on this one, direct to my Axe-Fx II. Bass is a Dingwall sampled by Impact Studios and it’s the Inferno DI with some intimidatingly long plugin chain processing xD Intro drums are by Getgood Drums - The Invasion kit (default-high CPU) and main track drums are again Getgood Drums - Modern & Massive.
